& you can see daisies in her footsteps

Mainer, DMBer, book nerd, lover of old movies, Audrey Hepburn fan, Harry Potter junky, strong case of wanderlust, Beatles enthusiast, crazy dog mom, chef & foodie with a deep love of words. That about sums it up.

So I was on Facebook and I saw this picture and looked at the comments (I know, why in the world would I do that) but wow.. I did not expect to see pages of positivity and people sticking up for this woman. (I have a lot more screen shots) Incase anyone is losing hope, just know that as hopeless as things may seem with all the misogyny and sexism we’re exposed to.. Things are gonna change. Slowly, but surely. Don’t give up everyone!

This is the first time I ever seen someone saying something positive on facebook

Why yes, you are correct im-the-asshole-that. I really really hate boomers constantly shitting on my generation.

At my job, I once had to take a training course called “Dealing with Difficult People.” And during that course, for no apparent…

If your primary thought after hearing of a woman being physically abused by her partner is to insist on playing devil’s advocate or justify the situation by stating it must have been the result of provocation, you’re a misogynist.

Julian Edelman. 5-10. 198 lb. Position: undetermined. He’s too small and unconventional. Maybe he could provide enough competition to push more established players. There are questions about his durability and he isn’t unknown a wide receiver. A player like Edelman could fill a role on special teams. Perhaps he’s just a camp arm to get the wide receivers some more work. It’s unlikely Edelman is being brought to New England to make an impact. He’s a gimmick prospect who lacks a true position at the next level, a reach in the 7th round.

There are only two things you can do when someone says you’re not good enough. You can prove ‘em right or you can prove ‘em wrong. [x]
